Conscious or unconscious
If Gate 2 appears in black on your chart (Personality), it is a trait you know about yourself. If it appears in red (Design), it is something others see in you before you do, more tied to the body and to what you inherited.
The channel it forms
Gate 2 belongs to the G Center and connects with Gate 14. If you have both, the channel forms and both centers become defined. If not, it is a hanging gate: you will feel drawn to people who carry the complementary gate.
