The four kinds of connection
When two charts overlap, every channel falls into one of these patterns. Your result lists each one, with a link to the guide for every Human Design channel.
Electromagnetic
Each person has one gate of a channel and together you complete it. It's the spark: attraction, curiosity and also challenge.
Companionship
You both have the same full channel. You share a way of functioning and understand each other without explanation.
Dominance
One person has a full channel and the other has none of its gates. The other experiences that energy through you.
Compromise
One has the full channel and the other only one gate. Where friction usually shows up: the one with a single gate may feel they always adapt.
The relationship as its own type
Together, two people form a composite with its own type and definition. Two Projectors, for example, can form a relationship that works like a Generator when their charts complete the Sacral. Centers that light up only when you're together are energy the relationship gives you that neither has alone.
