Circuits in Human Design

How the 36 channels group together · Individual, Tribal and Collective

The 36 channels aren't independent: they group into circuits, families of channels that share a purpose. Seeing which circuits your defined channels belong to gives you a clue about what you naturally use your energy for: to transform, to sustain your people or to share with the community.

Individual circuit: mutation

Its channels bring what is new and different. People with many individual channels tend to be unique, to live in cycles of inspiration and melancholy and to need time alone. Their keynote is empowerment.

Tribal circuit: support

It's about family, resources, agreements and mutual care. Its channels speak of support, belonging and negotiation: who gives, who receives and how the group is taken care of.

Collective circuit: sharing

Oriented toward society. It divides into Collective Logic (patterns, testing, the future) and Collective Abstract (experience, reflection on the past, learning by living).

Integration channels

A small group of channels between the G Center, Throat, Spleen and Sacral is about individual survival and self-empowerment. People who have them tend to be very self-sufficient.
